So expect the same level of quality as their other products. Now from a Star Wars perspective, this product falls a little flat. I feel that the product's description is a little misleading. The cover, inside of the front cover, the first page with the contact information, the back page, and inside of the back cover with the pocket is Star Wars themed and that's it. There was also rather cool movie poster included with the Moleskine history in the back pocket as well.I'm still trying to figure out where "The inner pages are decorated with material from the Lucas film archive and include bespoke Star Wars paper inserts or stickers and full-colour end papers" that material is in the product. I would have loved to have seen faint wireframes of X-Wings, the Death Star, and TIE Fighters on each page. I just got Le Petit Prince Plain Large edition and could not be more pleased.On the front cover in silver is a drawing of Le Petit Prince standing on top of his world. At the top of the front cover etched in silver is "l'essential est invisble pour les yeux" (the essential is invisible to the eye). The inside end pages have colorful stars and planets. On the back end cover page it says "nous ecrivons choses eternelles" (we write of eternal things). As a bonus in the back pocket is a 3D landscape where the Prince meets the fox and tames him. (if these really are limited edition, i will certainly be stocking up) some differences from standard moleskines: printed (and slightly embossed-feeling) cover with little prince standing on his planet graphic both inside covers are printed with stars and planet graphics a lovely three-dimensional pop-out of the fox scene i do wish the pages had had a bit of the star and planet print as well, and if there had been stickers it would have been nice, but otherwise, i am beyond a happy camper. very highly recommended! |
