But then, neither do any other traditional glow paints. The newer technology paints are better - but MUCH more expensive. For projects where a little paint must glow a lot (e.g., gun sights), use the newer stuff. If you can 'layer' this paint and use it thickly it will glow very nicely.It also has a nice latex property which makes it ideal for another creative possibility (which I discovered on my own). I use candy-mold letter shapes. I drip this paint into them to fill them up (completely). Then I let them dry for a week. If they are fully dry, you can peel them out and VIOLA you have thick, 3d, glow letters which can be attached to anything. They will have the consistency of a rubber inner tube. Plus, the thickness will allow them to glow a lot. If you think about this - there are very many different candy (chocolate) molds available, but you have to use the cheap plastic kind...
